During the summer you also are not far from Rhode Island beaches only 1/2 hour away. You can go to their museum which is not right in the casino but on the grounds. In the winter you can ice skate in the court yard of the Fox Tower. If you like rides they just opened one at the Fox Tower that takes you up about 15 stories or so. Amazing! As for gaming, they have 4 casino areas plus the largest high stakes bingo area in the country. It is an experience and the most fun you will have eating out. If you want a real fun place to eat (and it is not quiet) I highly recommend Sugar Factory. Foxwoods also has its own gas station with a convenience store on site. From high end to sandwich shops to Dunkin Donuts. Also Foxwoods has many of its own stores which also are nice. The have an 82 store Tanger Outlet which spans from the Fox Tower casino to the Great Cedar casino and it is 3 floors.
If you like to shop you have already hit a jackpot. You can get your hair done/get a massage/nails/steam room/exercise room. The Pequot Tower spa is also nice and does allow children.
The spa at the Fox Tower is very quiet and does not allow children. There are spa's you should take time to enjoy. Foxwoods offers so much but it also depends on what you like to do.
